He currently holds academic appointments at Columbia University’s School of Medicine, Quinnipiac University, and the University of Arizona’s Center for Integrative Medicine. Before founding Emma Health in 2024, Bobby served as Executive Director of Technology at Markful, where he overhauled infrastructure and improved the customer experience. He previously held key engineering roles at Becton Dickinson and Accumen Inc., where he architected healthcare data pipelines and analytics tools.

Bobby is the co-inventor of U.S. Patent Application US 20200365274A1, which outlines a novel method for integrating fragmented healthcare data—technology that underpins much of Emma Health’s platform today. He holds an MBA in Management Information Systems from San Diego State University and began his career as a Hospital Corpsman in the U.S. Navy, where he developed the operational discipline and urgency that shape his leadership approach.
