Find relief through personalized nutrition, supplementation, and evidence-based support.
Stamford Gastroenterology is committed to advancing innovation and delivering evidence-based care that contributes to the future of gastroenterology. Through its affiliation with Emma Health, Stamford Gastroenterology offers a Microbiome-Based IBS Support Program to eligible patients.
This 12-month, non-pharmacologic support pathway is designed for individuals with persistent or moderate-to-severe IBS symptoms. There is no cost to patients diagnosed with IBS who are referred by Stamford Gastroenterology for the full year of the program.
The program includes baseline and follow-up microbiome testing (two total analyses) to assess gut composition and monitor changes over time, guiding personalized interventions throughout the 12-month pathway.
Patients receive a structured, evidence-informed nutrition plan built on low-FODMAP and microbiome-supportive strategies, designed to promote symptom relief while encouraging sustainable dietary habits.
Each participant receives a customized supplement regimen tailored to their microbiome results and symptom profile, with all recommended modulation supplements included and delivered directly to the patient’s home.
The program integrates ongoing monitoring of stress, sleep, bowel patterns, food intake, and overall quality of life, enabling data-driven adjustments and continuous personalized support.
